Rich and Poor
Download this episode (50 min)
Ever since the beginning of time the Rich and the Poor have existed. The Rich have the best money can buy. The Poor can barely survive. THAT is man's version of Rich and Poor. God’s version is different. The things of this world are with us for a relatively short time. They will fade away. God's gift to us, if we choose to accept it, is eternal life with Him. It means that our time with Him will be a lot longer than our time here on Earth.
Where are your Riches?

Have you ever experienced grief so heavy, your very being ached? A burden so heavy, that you feel you can't go on any longer? The Israelites lived in times like these. In the book of Isaiah, it was described as being like a woman about to give birth, writhing and crying in pain.
When we get to this place of hopelessness and desperation we need to do one thing.
We need to seek God. We need to reach out with our hearts, with our minds and maybe even with our hands and reach out to Him. And when we do, He will give us peace.

Core Values.....our "measuring stick".
What we think to be right and true.
They are also what we believe we should live by.
But, what if our core values aren't right and true?
We could be living a lie. Not only to others, but to ourselves, as well.
So, how do we know?
By comparing and building our core values from the Truths and teachings of the Word of God.
When we do that, our Values will be shaped and formed like Jesus Christ.

Download this episode (45 min)
Core Values.
The measuring stick we use to make our decisions.
Tough decisions and easy decisions.
They shape how and why we respond. They're what we base our life on.
So, where do we get our core values? From family, friends, television, radio, work. We need to choose wisely though and not accept everything we hear and see.
And we need to constantly review our core values. As we change in life, so should our core values. They should reflect on the outside who and what we are on the inside.

We all face difficulties in our lives. How we deal with them is different. Some of us believe it's in the hands of the world. Others believe it's in the hands of the Word. Placing our faith and trust in the world will bring us worldly results. But, placing our faith and trust in the Living Word, brings us peace and rest. Know that in all times of trouble, no matter how difficult, God gives us the peace and rest we need, while He takes care of the situation in His way and time.

Christmas..a time of celebration.
Celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
And who was at this celebration...this party?
Kings, princes, leaders of great nations?
No...Shepherds. Poor, filthy, smelly shepherds. Is that who you would invite to a grand celebration? Probably not. But God did. He knew exactly who to invite and why. Follow us as we dig into God's Word and see the true meaning of Christmas and why He chose who would bring thanks and gifts to the new King.

Sunday, Dec 13, 2009The Key to Full Life
Download this episode (61 min)
Most of us think of a full life as having all our bills paid, a nice big house, a great car, and all the things you figure would make you happy. But pretty much everyone who has all those "things" is still not satisfied.
There's still something missing.
A full life is one of meaning and purpose for God our heavenly Father.
When you have achieved that, you are in the best of places, with no regrets.
